I am very exicted to be starting my 3rd year on the Mountain, this time teaching Spanish 1, 4 and AP.
Originally from Virginia (right outside of Washington D.C.!), I've been studying Spanish my entire life. This culminated in a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature and Culture and Comparative Literature from the University of Virginia. I then spent a year teaching in Madrid to try out the field of education before jumping right into Harvard Graduate School of Education to complete my Master's in Education with a focus on Foreign Language Education and Policy. After teaching at a charter in Boston, MA, I made the trek west in 2013 and have enjoyed getting to know the beautiful mountains and incredible students of Colorado since!
