Base Camp

We are committed to providing a quality education for your child and will encourage children to become independent and self-confident throughout the school year. We value communication between home and school, and we work hard to develop partnerships with families. Most importantly we work to ensure that school a positive place for your child. 

Base Camp, or Advisory, is a year- long 20-minute class designed to help balance students in academics and increase their skill set in social emotional learning. They will have lessons on how to respond to bullying, harassment, and intimidation, coping with stress, time management, study skills, college readiness, goal setting, and grade calculation. They will also build skills in some of the following areas: self-management, self-awareness, social awareness, interpersonal skills, intrapersonal skills, decision-making, and making responsible behavior choices.
