Spring Season Information Meeting January 27th(1/27) at 4:00pm in The Gaming Lab C147.

This is a chance for you to ask questions and see what eSports is all about, as well as getting what you need to sign-up. Experience players are not required to attend, but encouraged to come to share their experiences with the program.

Program Information

MRHS is the first school in Adams12 to create a Esports Program. Our program is Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) approved and works through PlayVS who operates the tournaments, provides the software/game licenses, and offers scholarships to winning teams. We practice and compete on site at Mountain Range High School in our state of the art Gaming Lab in C147, next to the library.

PlayVS requires a fee of $64 per player. The $64 dollar fee is to pay for the software(PlayVS) we use to set up matches and skirmishes, Provide League of Legends players with all available champions(and some skins), and buy entry into the tournament with scholarship prizes for the winning teams.

Our program currently features 2 competitive games to choose from: Rocket League and League of Legends. PlayVS is looking at adding more games in the future. So, keep an eye out to see if your favorite game is added.

If you are interested in the Esports program here at MRHS, please come to our information meeting. Our Practice days vary based on what team you are placed on, but Practice times are the same: 3:45pm - 5:30pm. Game days could go later if there are connection problems.
