AP Night

AP Night

Date & Time: Mon, 03/09/2020 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm

If your child has requested an AP course it is important that a parent/guardian and the child attend AP night on Monday, March 9th.  AP Night is an opportunity for you and your child to gain a better understanding of the requirements for the AP course(s) that they have requested for next year. Each AP teacher will be giving short informational presentations (on rotations) to introduce you to the course content, outside of school commitments, and summer assignments you can expect as part of that AP course.  This will also be an opportunity for you and your child to sign the required AP contract.

We will run 5 sessions starting at 5:00 pm.  Your child must attend one session for each AP class they have signed up for.  For example, if your child is only requesting to take one AP class, you could attend the session from 6:15 - 6:35.  You do not have to attend the first session at 5:00 pm as you only need to visit that one session.  See the attached the session schedule below:

Learning Resources and Enrichment Activities
The district has compiled a combination of digital and non-digital resources that students and families can access during the two-week extended spring break. These resources will allow students to stay engaged in a self-directed manner.

Over the course of the two week spring break, the district will continue the work already started on a long-term remote learning plan should the closure be extended beyond March 27. More information will be shared in future communication.
