Daily Announcements

  • The lost and found is running over.  There are lots of coats and water bottles.  Take a minute and look through what is here.  You might be surprised! We have had some things brought to Student Relations that had been lost by students for awhile but have now been found.  Please check out all lost and found for your missing items. Any items left in Lost and Found on November 20th will be given to charity. 
  • Attention all freshmen and Link Crew Leaders: If you haven't heard already, Link Leaders will be hosting our Academic Support Sessions next Wednesday! Join your link leader TODAY during academic support on to meet up with your group. Check in with your link leader to find out which room you'll be meeting in! See you there!
  • Country and Cultures club will be meeting next Tuesday, November 19th in room C-226 from 3:10-4:00!  Please come join us as we learn about Día de los muertos!  We will be decorating sugar skulls and there will be some authentic food to try!  This is free and everyone is welcome.  We hope to see you there!
  • Auditions for The Little Mermaid are Tuesday, November 19th - but first - you'll need to come to the workshop on Friday the 15th to learn the audition!  Come to the auditorium on Friday from 3:30 - 6:00 to learn the dances and music!  See Ms. Schenck in E121 if you have questions.
  • Get Creative! Join National Art Honor Society in a fun art event. Canvas, Ceramics and Cider. Paint a canvas, paint your own pottery and have some cider. These make great gifts. Items range in price from $3 to $12.  The event is open to friends and family.  Thursday 11-14-19 in room D127 from 4-7 pm. See Mrs Dowling if you have questions.
     

ATHLETIC INFORMATION: 

  • Attention athletes interested in playing winter sports, please make sure you register at mountainrange.rschoolteams.com. Registration including physical and payment needs to be completed by November 15th in order to tryout on November 18th. 
  • “Boys basketball tryouts will take place right after school on Monday November 18th and Tuesday November 19th. Remember, in order to even tryout, you must be completely registered online, have a current physical, and pay the winter athletic fee. Returning basketball players must also have all outstanding fees paid off in order to try out. If you have any questions or concerns, please see Coach Carter, Coach Morgan or Coach Hayes ASAP.”
  • Girls' Swimming and Diving : FIrst optional practice began Tuesday at the VMAC at 3:30.  Our parent meeting will be at the VMAC on the 19th.  Please see the Swimming website for the calendar.  
  • Attention girls interested in basketball this winter, there will be preseason workouts this week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday starting from 5 til 7:30. Reminder all forms, physical, and payments need to be complete by Friday November 15th in order to Tryout on Monday.
