Mountain Range High School is a North Metro Denver Area Public High School serving the communities of Westminster, Thornton, Northglenn, and Broomfield.

Special Programs

Our nationally recognized High School of Business™ is an accelerated college program that prepares students for success in their future careers and in the changing global workplace and society. Throughout the program, students receive ongoing ethics education and leadership development. Program students are dual enrolled in high school and college with the opportunity to earn up to 21 transcripted college credits during high school! In addition, students in the High School of Business™ work towards achieving fluency in a second language. High School of Business™ students also complete a career focused internship in their designated career pathway and have the option to expand their learning through travel. 

 

At Mountain Range, there are a variety of ways students can get involved, including opportunities through our athletic programs and a wide variety of extra curricular activities and clubs, including DECA. The Mountain Range DECA Chapter is the largest in the state.

  • Are you interested in planning school-wide activities? The Mountain Range Student Government has been awarded the National Student Council’s National Gold Council of Excellence for nine consecutive years. 

  • Feeling creative? Our Art, Music,and Drama departments consistently perform at high levels. Just this year, we had ten 2022 Scholastics Art Award winners. Or, join one of our Bands, Choirs, Orchestra, or Manestage Theatre Productions if performing live is something you’re drawn to.

  • A range of Year-round athletics are always an option for students that want to be a part of a team.

  • Do you want to have your voice heard? Students in Journalism and our Video Production classes work together to produce The Range, a collection of videos and articles about life as a Mustang.
