Position: Science Teacher
I was born and raised in Denver, CO. I graduated from North H.S. in 1994 and the University of Colorado in 1998. I have four children and two dogs, all of whom keep me very busy and entertained. I enjoy cycling, backpacking/hiking, hunting/fishing and especially playing video games. Philosophically, I strive to improve myself mentally and physically on a daily basis. I tackle every problem with a positive outlook. I expect my students to be diligent workers, to be courteous and respectful to others in the classroom, but above all else I expect them to embrace and learn from mistakes and failures. "Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant." - Robert Louis Stevenson - - - Mr. Bleskan has ridden his bike to work 25 times this school year (so far) for a total of 500 miles. His car gets 30 miles per gallon, and each gallon of gas produces 17 pounds of carbon dioxide (CO2) emission. How much CO2 has Mr. Bleskan prevented from going into the atmosphere by riding his bike to work each week?
