College Credit Opportunities for High School Students
Many of our business and marketing courses provide students with the opportunity to earn both high school and college credits in high school. Please take a moment to read more about our Front Range Community College Concurrent Partnership and our University of Colorado CU Succeed Program.
Beyond the Classroom
I highly encourage each of our students to participate in DECA, our business co-curricular organization. DECA provides students with the opportunity to apply their learning to business-related scenarios. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
The mission of Junior Achievement is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. It's not an easy task. But it's the kind of challenge that JA takes on with creative energy, fervor, and decisive action. I love to bring in Junior Achievement volunteers and other guest speakers who can bring the world of business to our classroom. If you are interested in these types of opportunities, please email me at tara.p.vanloenen@adams12.org
