
Ms. Colegrove has taught high school art since 2002. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC, with three emphases in drawing, printmaking, and art history). She continued her education abroad living in Ireland for nine months after college, discovering her love for travel and exploring different cultures and environments. While working in the business world, after returning to the United States, she completed a degree program in Art Education at UNC and has been focused on teaching and learning every since.
Starting her career in teaching began at Fountain Fort Carson High School in Fountain, Colorado. After her first year of teaching, she started working in Adams12 first at Horizon High School, in Thornton, for four years followed by her current position at Mountain Range High School since 2007. She loves working at Mountain Range, a school that supports the arts, with four fulltime art teachers and hundreds of creative students. She specializes in teaching Jewelry, and Foundations of Art classes. She is also a co-sponsor of MRHS"s Art Club with Ms. Rigli.
